Garlic Press

I totally LOVE garlic and really just can't get enough of it. This is such a handy tool when you want your garlic to be in tiny pieces and you are in a big hurry. It is also great if the knife likes your fingers more than the vegetables.

A garlic press is a kitchen utensil designed to crush garlic cloves efficiently by forcing them through a grid of small holes, usually with some type of piston. Many garlic presses also have a device with a matching grid of blunt pins to clean out the holes.

It sure beats having to cut it up in tiny pieces with a knife!!! Especially because a clove of garlic can be passed through a sturdy press without even removing its peel. The peel remains in the press while the garlic is extruded out.

There are several types of presses and here are a few places you can order them online:

Kuhn Rikon Epicurean Garlic Press
Zylis Susi Deluxe Garlic Press
